This project was pretty straightforward. First, we chose a picture or took a new one, then, using photoshop, we used the filter gallery to make it have less layers and chose a base set of colors to work with. Now, in the studio, we projected the photo with the filter onto a whiteboard, and traced it. Then we numbered our portraits (like a color-by-number) and mixed our colors. Then we painted and hung them in the hallway by the art room.

for this project, we used strips of staples standing on edge to create what loos like a city from the future. The beginning of this project was very frustrating, and luckily we had a double block to figure out how to keep the staples standing. Eventually we gave in and used a glue gun to hold them down. Then we used various backgrounds and light colors to create these images.
With this project, we used projectors to create interesting and enticing designs on people and the background of our photos.
for this project we used the many filters in photoshop to distort and add some fun elements to our photos.
In this challenge, we had to take a photo that would best represent as scary book or movie. Mrs. Haggerty took skeletons from the biology classrooms to use as our props for the photoshoot. After taking our pictures, we resorted to photoshop to add any last edits to our final design. This is the end result.
During this week, we reviewed the many concepts of photoshop using different projects highlighting the different tools in the program. The projects I did (in order) were: A color splash, the hamburger project, a pop art, and a double exposure. The whole concept of this project was to learn to use (or re-learn to use) adobe photoshop.
For this project, we were given the task of using depth-of-field to portray a lizard in different environments.
Our project was to take photographs of some of the different photographic genres. The genres define and represent the different types of photography.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS: Do you think photography will become a lost art? -No, because photography can give a different view on situations that cant be described, and can also be seen in every language. A good picture speaks 1000 words What is your favorite picture and why? -My favorite picture is of my dog on a tractor because you can get a sense of playfulness in the photo and can feel like you're there in the moment List the ten genres of photography: -Landscape -Night long exposure -Photojournalism -Candid -Street photography -Landscape -Sports photography -Fashion photography -Portraiture -Architectural Which genre would you like to try? -I would like to try portraiture mainly because you can just get a persons personality by looking them in the eyes and understanding them to an extent that words can' describe Today was a double block of class, so we went to the auditorium and did light painting. Light painting is a technique that uses a moving light source to make a drawing during a long-exposure photograph.
This photo was actually an accident. The sunset was so vibrant and bright that I had to get a picture of it. Unfortunately, none of the pictures came out good so I stopped taking them. While I was putting my camera down, I accidentally took this picture.
